Zone of the Enders fans have been eagerly waiting for the upcoming PS4 remake Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner – M∀RS ever since it was announced at TGS last September. Today, Konami revealed that fans won’t have to wait much longer to get a taste of the game, as a free demo for the title has been released on the PlayStation Store.
According to Konami, this demo supports both 4K on PS4 Pro and PlayStation VR support, much like the recently release WipEout Omega Collection demo. This demo will let players experience the thrilling mech-action gameplay that the series is known for, and see the new improvements for themselves.
For those of you who aren’t aware, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner – M∀RS is a remake of the 2003 PS2 title Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, which was produced by Hideo Kojima. The new iteration of The 2nd Runner will feature completely remastered visuals and re-engineered audio, including support for 4K and (for the first time) VR, which will certainly provide a nice visual upgrade for fans of the original game.
Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner – M∀RS is currently poised to launch on both PC and PS4 on September 4 in North America and September 6 worldwide.
