Ahead of E3 2019, a brand new Xbox One S Bundle featuring Fortnite has been unveiled following a leak last month. Interestingly, instead of just including the game and a few extra bonuses, this bundle also includes an exclusive console and controller with a purple hue as opposed to the usual white color of the Xbox One S. The package is officially called the Xbox One S Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition and will cost $299.99 when it hits store shelves on June 7.
That being said, the game will be discounted by $50 initially. Just like Sony with Days of Play, Microsoft is discounting both games and hardware around E3. All of these improvements have been highlighted on Xbox Wire, with the best deals being $100 off an Xbox One X and $50 across all Xbox One S models and bundles, even the recently released Xbox One S All Digital.
Those of you interested in this purple console are probably curious about what exactly you will get with the Xbox One S Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition. The bundle obviously includes the purple console and controller, but also includes a Legendary Outfit, Rare Pickaxe, Epic Glider, 2000 V-Bucks, a month of Xbox Live Gold, and an Xbox Game Pass Trial. If you are an avid Fortnite fan and are also looking to pick up an Xbox One, this package is a good option and manages to look quite sleek in the process.
