Kingdom Hearts Union X is getting a new story update that will take players to Game Central Station from Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph. This will be the first new world to come to Union X since its launch in 2016 under the name Kingdom Hearts Unchained X (Key). Wreck-It Ralph was a link summon in January’s Kingdom Hearts III, so it makes sense that we would see a world based on the Disney film come to its mobile predecessor
That being said, I would still like to see a world like this in the next main entry of the Kingdom Hearts series. In Kingdom Hearts Sora had the ability to summon both Mushu and Simba and then went to their respective worlds in Kingdom Hearts II, so there is technically precedent for Wreck-It Ralph to follow suit if the developers over at Square Enix decide to do so.
The Game Central Station world is currently available only on Japanese servers, and no release dates for North America or other regions have been announced. The update will include new story missions that will lead up to the beginning of the new world, but players will have to wait for the full world to be unveiled. Until then, there is Kingdom Hearts III to play, which DualShockers found to be a “dazzling display.”
Kingdom Hearts Union X is available to download for free on the Apple Store, Google Play Store, and the Amazon Appstore.
