All eyes have been focused on the upcoming Rift Tour Event in Fortnite, but it’s still business as usual when it comes to new Alien Artifacts and Weekly Quests.
With Week 9 of Fortnite right around the corner, players will be eager to know where the next batch of Alien Artifacts are going to appear around the island. Here’s every location for the new artifacts, plus what time they release.

New Item In Fortnite – The Grab-itron
Alien Artifacts & Epic Quests Release Time
Brand new Alien Artifacts and Epic Quest will arrive in Fortnite for Week 9 on Thursday, August 5th, 2021. They will go live in-game at 3PM BST / 7AM PT.
Alien Artifacts – Week 9 Locations
Below you will find a map with all of the Alien Artifact locations for Week 9, there are also detailed instructions below the map to aid you in locating the latest batch of Artifacts.
- Alien Artifacts #1 = Head east from the centre of the island, below Corny Complex is a Gas Station with a small shop next to it. Head inside the building and the artifact can be found in the middle of the building.
- Alien Artifact #2 = East of Weeping Woods there is an IO area with a large satellite dish, the artifact can be found on top of the satellite dish.
- Alien Artifact #3 = On the west side of Weeping Woods there is a small shack next to the river that runs through the POI, the artifact can be found inside the shack.
- Alien Artifact #4 = There is a small island west of Holly Hatchery, on this island is a very small shack. The artifact can be found inside of the shack.
- Alien Artifact #5 = North of Pleasant Park there is another island, this one is slightly bigger than the last one. The artifact can be found underneath the building on the island, simply break away the bottom half of the building to find it.
Epic Quests – Week 9
If you’re also patiently waiting for new quests to complete, get ready for a new batch of Epic Quests this week. Check out each new challenge below:
- Launch toilets with a Grab-itron (0/2) – 30,000XP
- Dance on an Abductor or as a passenger on a Saucer (0/1) – 30,000XP
- Avoid taking damage while dealing 100 damafge to opponents in a single match (0/1) – 30,000XP
- Reveal an opponent with a Recon Scanner, then hit them with a Railgun (0/1) – 30,000XP
- Drive an IO vehicle with off-road tires (0/1000) – 30,000XP
- Use IO launchpads (0/1) – 30,000 XP
- Carry an alien sample from a Satellite Station’s Dish to an entrance of Corny Complex (0/2) – 30,000XP
