PS4 theme creators extraordinaire Truant Pixel have spread their wings lately, going from releasing their own creative themes to working for large publishers (including Sony Interactive Entertainment itself) creating themes for their games. That’s exactly what happened with Capcom’s upcoming PS4 release of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen.
The good folks at Truant Pixel pulled all the stops, with a giant dragon atop a cliff responding to user input, and a dedicated soundtrack that moves from the game’s theme to a more ambient-friendly music that turns this into a sort of “fireplace” theme with a fantasy twist.
The theme is created with PS4 Pro and 4K screens in mind, so you shouldn’t have to worry about pixelated edges, and can be grabbed by pre-ordering the game on the PlayStation Store.
You can enjoy a video directly from Truant Pixel below. If you want to see more of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, you can also enjoy a trailer showing mage-based vocations, another focusing on archer-based vocations, one comparing PS4 and PS3 graphics, the character creation, one more trailer and a few screenshots, and one showing open world gameplay.
The game will launch on current-gen consoles in North America and Europe on October 3rd, priced at $29.99. The western release releases a couple of days in advance compared to Japan, which will get the title on October 5th. If you don’t want to wait that long, a PC version is also currently available on Steam.
