If your first experience of Vampyr hasn’t quenched your thirst and you’re hungry for another tasty bite of this dark, combat adventure, then you are in luck as Dontnod is introducing two new game modes to add further replayability to the title, with a new Story mode and Hard mode.

As well as bringing a host of optimization tweaks, the upcoming update will introduce a ‘Story’ mode that plays down combat, allowing players to enjoy more of a narrative experience, and adds a new Hard mode to the proceedings, which promotes more demanding confrontations, thus giving you fewer experience points for kills. In other words, you’re going to have to rely more on preying on the innocent bystanders of London’s murky alleyways to get your XP fix. Focus Home Interactive did not reveal the exact date of this content update however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Also, Focus Home Interactive has reported €28.5 million in revenue. The result was achieved primarily thanks to the strong sales of Vampyr, which launched in early June. Last we had heard of Vampyr’s sales, the game had sold nearly half a million copies a little over a month after release.

Vampyr is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you have yet to pick up the game, you can do so by heading over to Amazon.
