Earlier today, Ubisoft released two new trailers for the upcoming role-playing game South Park: The Fractured But Whole with each video highlighting one of the game’s warring factions.
The first trailer highlights the team that Cartman, A.K.A. The Coon, leads. The faction, appropriately called Coon and Friends, features a variety of other South Park regulars like Kyle and Jimmy. This video shows off these characters using a variety of their own abilities as well The Coon pitching your character, The New Kid, on joining the squad.
As expected, the other new trailer for The Fractured But Whole is quite similar in presentation except this time we are being lured to join the team that Kenny, A.K.A. Mysterion, leads. This group, which is called the Freedom Pals, consists of characters like Timmy and Stan, which, once again, we get to see in action for a few moments in this video.
The Fractured But Whole made more waves earlier this afternoon when it was revealed that creating characters with darker skin color will also increase the game’s difficulty. While this difficulty won’t be increased during the combat portions of The Fractured But Whole, they will make it much harder for your character to earn money as well as changing the way that some characters speak to you.
If you want to check out both of today’s trailers, then you can find them sequentially at the bottom of the page. South Park: The Fractured But Whole is slated to release next month on October 17 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
