For those of you who don’t know, Ambition of the Slimes is an isometric turn-based strategy game that initially hit the iOS App Store in 2015 before making its way to the Nintendo 3DS in 2016. The game sees an army of slimes take on humans; while they are initially very weak against humans, slimes have the ability to claim their bipedal opponents and take control of them in order to turn the tide of battle.
This version of Ambition of the Slimes seems to have crisper, better-looking graphics if the background of the Tweet is anything to go by. It also isn’t the only strategy game coming to Nintendo Switch for Circle Entertainment. After teasing an announcement for January 1, they revealed that Mercenaries Saga Chronicles was coming to Switch.
You can check out a previously released trailer for the 3DS version of the game below to get an idea of how the game works. Ambition of the Slimes is currently available on iOS and 3DS and will release on Nintendo Switch in North America, Europe, Austrailia, and New Zealand soon.
