505 Games has quite a varied catalog of games. While the publisher is behind some heavy hitters like Control and the upcoming PC version of Death Stranding, 505 Games also supports some smaller indie titles like Laser League and Last Day of June. Today, 505 Games added another title to that latter category: Total Tank Simulator from fledgling developer Noobz from Poland. Check out its reveal trailer below:
The game is a low-poly physics-based battle simulator set during 2020, and it is only slated for PC right now. Obviously, it’s a more lighthearted take on the conflict when compared to something gritty and realistic like Battlefield V, but Total Tank Simulator seems much more focused on gameplay and the variety of tools players have at their disposal. The reveal trailer shows tanks, soldiers, and planes in action as well as some destruction that will make up the core of Noobz from Poland’s first title.
So far, three game modes have been confirmed. A sandbox mode will allow players to tinker with and create whatever they want, fulfilling the simulator portion of the title. That being said, Total Tank Simulator will also feature Shadow Mode, where players try to survive for as long as possible, and a campaign mode. 6 factions will be available in every part of Total Tank Simulator, and the 50 maps and hundreds of units do have historical roots, even if the game’s presentation is a bit more playful on the surface. It isn’t quite like anything else 505 Games is working on, which helps it stand out as part of their lineup.
If the game gets wishlisted over 150,000 on Steam, Noobz from Poland and 505 Games will discount it by 25% during launch week and will add officer units, secret weapons, and special tactics units for every faction. Total Tank Simulator is currently only coming to PC and will arrive sometime in 2020. You can see various parts of the game in action with the screenshots below:
