After bursting onto the indie gaming scene with No Time to Explain in 2011, tinyBuild has since become one of the most well-known indie game publishers, publishing popular titles like SpeedRunners and Party Hard. Like many other indie developers and publishers, tinyBuild has also released some titles on the Nintendo Switch, releasing Mr. Shifty and Phantom Trigger on the platform last year.
It seems like tinyBuild is about to go full force on Nintendo Switch though, as they announced their first #HelloSwitch event on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook tomorrow. According to tinyBuild Founder and CEO Alex Nichiporchik, tinyBuild G will be announcing six titles for the Nintendo Switch at this event. The event will be hosted by Alex Nichiporchik and will begin at 10am PT.
It is currently unknown which six games of tinyBuild’s will be announced at the event. They could be pulled from tinyBuild’s previously developed games like No Time to Explain, their large catalog of previously published indie titles, or something brand new. I guess we’ll have to watch and see. That being said, the event’s name is #HelloSwitch, which makes me think we could possibly see the recently released Hello Neighbor come to the console/handheld hybrid.
You can check out a brief video promoting #HelloSwitch below, which parodies the now classic sounding and looking Nintendo Switch video intro with tinyBuild’ logo.
