Over the years, gamers have done some wild things to their sims in The Sims 4 from finding creative ways to kill them to putting their sanity to the test. Gamer Kari Nicole McKendrick has decided to tip the scales on the crazy radar and bring to life the cast from the popular Netflix’s latest true-crime docuseries, Tiger King with some incredible results.
The world is on lockdown and many of us are finding new ways to bide our time whilst in isolation. One of the most popular ways lately is to jump into Netflix where there isn’t a shortage of things to watch which is exactly what Florida native Kari McKendrick decided to do and where she got the bright idea to reenact the bizarre world of Tiger King in The Sims 4. I’ll be honest, I’ve yet to watch the documentary as I figure I’ve more than enough madness going on around me at present but you’d have to be living under a rock to not have heard of the show.
In brief, Tiger King tells the story of Joe Exotic – a flamboyant Oklahoma owner of a private park full of tigers and other big cats whose been accused of hiring a contract killer to murder an animal rights activist, Carole Baskin. Apparently, it makes for compulsive viewing where everyone on the planet is obsessed with it so it’s no wonder why Kari wouldn’t jump into The Sims 4 and modd her very own creation.
Going by the screenshots Kari has posted on her Facebook, it’s safe to say she has done a cracking job of it, too. Pictured we see Joe Exotic looking…well, like Joe Exotic. With his cowboy hat, his tattoos, piercings, and that strange bleached mullet, Kari has made sure to pay attention to the smallest of details. This wouldn’t be a true recreation if we also didn’t see Joe’s former husbands, John Finlay and Travis Maldonado threw in there too in a lovely group picture all in their pink shirts from their iconic three-way polygamous wedding. I don’t think I even need to mention the level of detail Kari has gone into on John Finlay’s teeth which seemingly got a lot of attention on the show.
Not forgetting to add in some tigers too Keri painted some sims dogs to look like big cats and also dropped in Carole Baskin, Joe Exotic’s arch-rival and owner of Big Cat Sanctuary. Keri recreated Carole’s flower garland hair band, crazy skirts, and tiger print top. The likeness is truly uncanny and actually a little bit scary.
If you’ve yet to watch the hit Netflix show, prepare for things to get very weird, wild and strange. I, on the other hand, will live vicariously through the medium of wonderful creations like Kari’s and leave all the madness to you lot. If you fancy trying the Tiger King cast recreation out for yourself, The Sims 4 is currently on sale for PC.
The Sims 4 is currently available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
