Yet again, another period of time passes without hearing anything about Bayonetta 3. It’s been over three years since Nintendo and Platinum said anything official about the game and many have been disappointed that not even screenshots or a quick teaser were showcased at the recent Nintendo Direct. Even though PlatinumGames co-founder Hideki Kamiya has told fans that he hopes to share more on the title in 2021 and that “things are going very well”, we’ve yet to see any information about the Umbra Witch. Whatever the reason for the secrecy could be, we have a little treat for those who can’t wait to get their eyes on Cereza in this incredibly realistic cosplay.
Professional Japanese cosplayer luna_miduki lovingly showcases her take on the Bayonetta star whose real name is Cereza in the series. For those who don’t know, Bayonetta, or Cereza, is the main protagonist of the game and is classed as an Umbra Witch, a clan of European dark arts practitioners from long ago. In her leather attire and kick-ass attitude, Cereza fights her way through monsters and demons all while wearing a killer pair of heels.

Luna has painstakingly strived to detail every inch that makes Bayonetta who she is in her hyper-realistic cosplay. It’s incredible the level of work that Luna has put into these costumes and she deserves every bit of praise she gets. Just check out those meticulous skin-tight outfits and how she’s able to maximise Bayonetta‘s accessories along with some of the most amazing photography work. If you haven’t yet, and why ever not?, you can follow Luna on Twitter to get a first look at what the insanely talented cosplayer is up to next.
As for Bayonetta 3, we will wait with bated breath for more information regarding the launch of the title or maybe Nintendo will just spring a surprise same-day release on us?
