While the closure of Telltale Games last fall left an unfortunate note on the release of the remaining episodes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season, the last two installments of the series were finally released earlier this year from Skybound Games and its StillNotBitten development team. Given that the series managed to reach a satisfying end for fans of the long-running story, a particularly fitting 8-bit style video managed to capture some of the best moments from the series in roughly 10 minutes.
Following the announcement last month of the upcoming The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series, which includes every episode released from Telltale Games’ acclaimed series, Skybound Games and Gamma Ray released a full recap video made in the style of 8-bit art telling the story of the past seasons.
Specifically, the video follows Clementine’s story across each season of the Telltale series, showing her growth from the beginning of the first season with Lee, to becoming a hardened survivor defending AJ in the final season. Of course, if you haven’t played The Final Season (or any of the preceding seasons) then the video will feature plenty of spoilers. But if you’re looking for a way to quickly remember what happened with Clementine and the rest of The Walking Dead cast from the Telltale series, then this video is certainly a great way to do that.
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series will arrive for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in September. For a closer look at what happened in the past seasons of the series (to refresh your memory), you can look at the full 8-bit style recap video below from Gamma Ray:
