Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive announced today that they have released The Surge: A Walk in the Park, and The Surge: Complete Edition on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. To celebrate its release, A Walk in the Park received a launch trailer, which you can check out at the end of this article.
For those of you who don’t know, The Surge: A Walk in the Park adds the new environment of CREO World, which was an amusement park owned by CREO, a suspicious company that has a major role in the main story of The Surge will recognize. The company would send their workers and their families here for fun; unfortunately, things didn’t pan out well for CREO World like the rest of the company. All of the rescue teams that were stationed there went insane, and CREO World’s robotic mascots now wander freely around the park and kill on sight.
The Surge: A Walk in the Park adds new enemies, a new boss, sixteen new weapons, new sets of armor and implants, and of course, the new environment for returning players to sink their teeth into. Those who want to pick up the game now should pick up The Surge: Complete Edition, which contains the base game and all of its DLC.
