It seems like such a long time ago since we first saw The Last of Us Part 2 during the December 2016 PlayStation Experience keynote presentation hosted by Sony Interactive Entertainment in Anaheim, California, where Naughty Dog finally announced the sequel to the much-beloved The Last of Us. It’s been a long road since for The Last of Us fans who have been hanging onto all announcements from Naughty Dog as to when they can get their hands on the game so while we all wait, check out this brilliant fan-made trailer incorporating The Last of Part Part 2 game scenes.
Cristian Drake created a YouTube channel all the way back in 2012, a year before The Last of Us‘ June 14, 2013 release on PlayStation 3. Here, Cristian has dedicated his entire channel to his love for the action-adventure post-apocalyptic game with theory videos, discussions on the release of The Last of Us Part 2, multiplayer uploads and plenty of TLOU content that would keep any fan in their element for hours on end. This time, however, one of Cristian’s self-made The Last of Us Part 2 trailer’s caught the eye of the one and only Naughty Dog game director, Neil Druckmann. Neil stated on his personal Twitter account that he just had to reshare it because the “fan trailer is so damn good”.
This fan trailer is so damn good, had to come back to twitter to share. (We’re still working hard with Sony to get you the game as soon as possible.) Now returning to my social media cleanse. https://t.co/ppnGvT7tES

In Cristian’s fan-made trailer, which is entitled ‘Wolf’, we see a mash-up of all of The Last of Part 2 trailers shown to date and it’s so comprehensive and professional that it actually looks like Naughty Dog crafted this themselves. At the beginning of ‘Wolf’, we see Joel walk in, gun in hand and as it focuses on his feet, it merges to when we first witnessed the “unknown woman” being dragged through the dirt by the Seraphites – Cristian made this particular transition exceptionally good. Halfway through the trailer, you’ll also notice the familiar song ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ coating some dramatic shots. You can check out Cristian’s fan-made video below for yourself and who knows, maybe it’ll inspire others to create their own trailer as we wait for a release date since The Last of Us Part 2 got delayed indefinitely.
If you have ever wondered how Naughty Dog came up with Ellie’s tattoo of a butterfly perched upon some fern leaves, Neil Druckmann went into some details on this a few years ago via Twitter. The tattoo was created by artist Natalie Hall, who also ended up being the hand model for Ellie’s own hands as she played the guitar in one of the trailers. Alexandria Neonakis who is a full-time Concept Artist at Naughty Dog was the tester for Ellie’s tattoo so she was subjected to a “sharpie test” on her arm to perfect the creative design.
Lately, we have been lucky enough to see some amazing The Last of Part 2 creations ranging from a stunning piece of The Last of Us Part 2 fan art that paid homage to Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson all the way to a wonderfully horrific Clicker Cosplay by cosplayer making.amess.cosplay.
The Last of Us 2 was originally set to release late in May but as of now, no release date has been announced. As always, when any The Last of Us Part 2 news drops in, you can be sure that DualShockers will have it covered.
