If you’re not familiar with the game, Darkside Detective is a retro-inspired point and click adventure game with a sense of humor. It’s developed by the studio Spooky Doorway. You play as Darkside Division Detective Francis McQueen. You’ll be investigating six occult and supernatural cases with the help of McQueen’s partner, Officer Dooley.
The game takes place in the town of Twin Lakes. McQueen and Dooley are the only two members of the Darkside Division. Funny enough, the people of Twin Lakes don’t seem to believe in the supernatural events that occur in the game so it’ll be solely up to you and your partner to figure out each mystery.
The Darkside Detective was released on PC back in July on Steam, so the Switch version will be its debut on a console.
Switch has been home to a multitude of incredibly awesome indie games. Recently, Golf Story, Oxenfree, and one of DualShockers’ favorite indie titles, Darkest Dungeon, are all coming to the handheld-console hybrid.
There’s currently no release date set for The Darkside Detective on Switch, but it is currently available on PC now for those who want to give it a shot.
