Wolfenstein: Youngblood takes you on a lengthy journey with two brand-new protagonists in the first co-op adventure in the series. Today, the devs at Arkane and MachineGames have released a short, new gameplay trailer. It shows the sisters working in tandem as they take on the Nazi forces. Check it out below.
It’s the 1980s and famed Nazi murderer BJ Blazkowicz is nowhere to be found. He was last seen in Nazi-occupied Paris. The only people who can rescue him are Jess and Soph, his twin daughters. You can choose either daughter to play as and you’ll also have the option of playing with a friend or using an AI companion.
Either way, the focus looks to be on using the daughters unleash all the bullets on any Nazi standing in your way. In fact, if you purchase the game’s Deluxe Edition, you get access to what the team is calling the “Buddy Pass”. This lets you share the game with a friend. They will then get to play through the game with you for free. To make it even easier to bring friends in, you can use the pass with as many friends as you want. Of course, you can only play with one friend at a time. That said, it’s still a cool way to get more people into the game.
Youngblood is coming at the end of July, so I would expect to see the game featured at Bethesda’s E3 press conference next month. It will be the perfect time to really turn up the hype before the game releases.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One on July 26.
