Since it debuted in 2012, Telltale Games’ acclaimed The Walking Dead series brought players into the story of Clementine as she survives and outlasts a dire post-apocalyptic world, and now her story will come to its conclusion later this year.
Telltale Games provided a look at The Walking Dead: The Final Season with the newly-revealed key art, which shows Clementine at a much older age compared to when she was just a young girl, alongside (presumably) AJ, the young boy who debuted in the series’ second season that she swore to protect. Notably, the art is also a striking callback to the key art from the first season of The Walking Dead that showed Lee and Clementine in a similar pose.
In addition to the key art reveal, Telltale also confirmed that The Final Season will debut later this year (as previously confirmed by the studio when the game was announced last year), while a first look at the final chapter of the series will debut at the upcoming PAX East next weekend in Boston during a panel on Friday, April 6 at 12:30pm ET (which will be livestreamed for viewers at home).
