In preparation for tomorrow’s massive update, Bandai Namco has released a new patch for Tekken 7, which makes several adjustments to the game’s multiplayer mode.
According to the publisher, patch 1.05 promises to improve online matchmaking, despite having a bit of trouble during the game’s official launch, Bandai Namco has been hard and work trying to smooth out the multiplayer issues plaguing the title. This includes modifications to online tournaments; when a host player decides to disconnect from the tournament a match, another player will automatically become the new tournament host and the competition will continue.
The new update removes the name display in Ranked Matches, meaning your player icon and disconnection rate are now the only things visible during online play. On top of that, Tekken 7’s leaderboard has also been enhanced as well as the functionality for Nvidia’s Ansel camera, which allows players to take screenshots during offline play.
