Tekken 7 developer and publisher, Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed a new trailer that introduces Season 4 that arrives to the game sometime Fall 2020. In addition to that, the game director of the game has revealed that the game has sold over 6 million copies.
Season 4 will introduce the classic character, Kunimitsu back to the game, and a brand-new stage “Vermilion Gates” is also being added. Both the character and stage can be seen in the below trailer that launched on September 26. The new season and the season pass will begin this Fall while another character and stage will be introduced next year in early Spring 2021.
In addition to the above, there are some free updates on the way. Players can expect to see some online play enhancements, some new moves for all playable characters, a new top-level rank called “Tekken God Omega” and “TEKKEN Prowess: A new way for players to see their TEKKEN skills through points scoring.” All of this was previously teased in the original announcement trailer last month.
A day after the above trailer landed, Katsuhiro Harada, game director for the Tekken games revealed in a tweet that Tekken 7 has surpassed over 6 million sales. What’s more, for the entire series it’s revealed that over 50 million copies have been sold and the download sales figures continue to grow.
A celebratory illustration was also revealed to mark the occasion and also thanks fans for their continued support.

Tekken 7 launched back in 2017 and is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
