British publisher Team17 and Denmark-based independent developer Planet Alpha ApS today announced that the upcoming indie title Planet Alpha has officially joined the Team17 family.
According to the press release, Planet Alpha will launch this year for PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The announcement of this newly-formed partnership will allow the studio to obtain the resources and ensure that Planet Alpha reaches its full potential.
If you are unaware of this game, Planet Alpha is an upcoming platformer features a beautiful and vibrant alien world filled with suspense and danger. Pursued by persistent adversaries, players must survive in this cutthroat world by utilizing the power of night and day.
Initially, announced five years ago, Planet Alpha started out as a side project by the former IO Interactive employee, Adrian Lazar. Prior to his departure from IO, Lazar assisted on the development of Hitman (2017), Hitman: Absolution, and Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days.
