Moving to the third-person shooter genre may have seemed like a risk for Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, but the latest trailer shows it is likely a risk worth taking. The epic trailer showcases a lot of the game, navigating between flashes of story-driven cinematic scenes and gameplay. And though it may not be the first trailer we’ve seen for the game, it will definitely get the blood pumping.
The trailer, seen below, almost seems like one for a blockbuster movie. First describing the cataclysmic state of the world, the narration switches over to Japanese dubbed audio. We see scenes with familiar faces — Asuna, Sinon, Kirito, to name a few — and a sampling of what the gunplay and movement looks like.
Of course, an impressive new launch trailer isn’t the only news coming out about Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet around launch. A few days ago it was revealed that Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment would come as a pre-order bonus to those grabbing Fatal Bullet on PC. On top of that, screenshots released earlier this month showcases the companion feature that lets you sleep in the same bed as heroines, with the unveiling picture showcasing Argo.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet by developer Dimps is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can check out the brand new launch trailer, below:
