Today Bandai Namco released a new batch of screenshots of the upcoming JRPG-meets-TPS Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet.
We see more of the previously-announced Kirito Mode that lets you play Kirito against Death Gun, and the introduction of a new character named Joe Bazart, a top-ranking player who has a crush on the hero’s ArFA-sys AI companion.
More screenshots showcase the Hero Battle mode, which lets two teams of four players compete online on who can down a boss. Rewards are rare items that can be used in Lizbeth’s shop to improve weapons, or to create new outfits in the Asuna’s Costume Quest feature. It also includes quests that will challenge you to defeat the boss quickly and more.
Another online mode is fully cooperative, letting you tackle missions with up to eight players each with their ArFA-sys, for a total of sixteen characters.
We also get the reveal of the inevitable feature that lets you sleep in the same bed with the heroines (just sleep, what are you thinking?), introduced with a screenshot showing Argo.
You can check out all the screenshots below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a recent trailer, another video from last weekend showing the Hero Battle mode, more gameplay we recently recorded at an event hosted by Bandai Namco alongside more new images, more screenshots, a recent trailer, the opening cutscene, a gallery of screenshots focusing on Kirito Mode and more elements of the title’s gameplay, a previous batch focusing on the ArFA-Sys AI companion, a trailer in Japanese showcasing the multiplayer features, another recent trailer in English, and a gallery of screenshots featuring more members of the cast.
