Capcom will be introducing M. Bison’s classic costume from Street Fighter II in Street Fighter V‘s Fighting Chance bonus system beginning tomorrow, November 27.
M. Bison’s Classic costume from Street Fighter II ditches the longer coat and lighting belt buckle as well as features a less muted red coloring overall and blue secondary coloring along the edges of the top. Most of his costume is the same as the darker red/black Street Fighter V version, but the coloring makes him less “gritty reboot” and more “colorful cartoon character.”
This costume will only be available via the loot box system in Street Fighter V: Fighting Chance. By paying 500 Fight Money (in-game currency earned via winning matches, completing Daily Targets, and leveling characters) you can get a Fantasy Fortune Reading which awards randomized items such as costumes, artwork, and colors. Some other “Classic” costumes have been released through Fighting Chance: Sagat’s from the original Street Fighter and Vega’s from Street Fighter II: The World Warriors. This costume will join additional costumes previously added for the upcoming winter holidays, Halloween, and a Resident Evil tie in.
