During the Red Bull Battlegrounds North American Regional Finals tournament, Capcom made a new reveal about the upcoming Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.
The large update, that current players will receive for free, will add a second V-Trigger (or V-Trigger II) to all existing characters, broadening their flexibility in combat.
In order to show what this all about, the publisher released a new trailer, showcasing exactly what some of those V-Triggers look like, alongside new abilities that will be sprinkled among the playable characters.
You can check the video out below. If you want to see more about Street Fighter V, you can check out the latest character added to the bunch, Zeku, with his introduction trailer and his gameplay tutorial.
The Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition was announced back in October, and will release on February 16, 2016, for PS4 and PC. Those who have not purchased the game yet will be able to grab it for $39.99 including all characters from season one and two. It will include the much requested Arcade mode, alongside the Extra Battle mode.
Incidentally, during the event at the end of the trailer, there was an explosion of pink confetti including some shaped like cherry blossoms, which could very well be a tease of an upcoming character named after them. For those who don’t know Japanese, that’s Sakura.
