Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Gets a Release Date; Pre-Order Bonus Announced

Today, Capcom unveiled new information regarding its upcoming fighting compilation Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, which finally gets a solid release date as well as an incentive for those who pre-order the game.

According to the developer, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One on Tuesday, May 29. In addition to announcing the release date, Capcom has revealed that those who intend on pre-ordering the game on PlayStation 4, Steam, or Xbox One will also receive Ultra Street Fighter IV, free of charge.

Initially announced last December during the Capcom Cup in Anaheim, California, Street Fighter 20th Anniversary Collection is a compilation that includes twelve games from the notable fighting game franchise. Starting from 1987’s Street Fighter to Street Fighter III: Third Strike. Other notable features offered in the compilation include online play for four specific games featured in the collection (Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter III: 3d Strike). This online mode will allow gamers to partake in ranked or casual matches online and access to leaderboards.
