Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Announced for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC

Today, during the Capcom Cup in Anaheim, California, Capcom announced the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.

The collection includes twelve games from the original Street Fighter to Street Fighter III: Third Strike, and below you can see the titles included: Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. 

Interestingly, four of the games include multiplayer with ranked and casual matches, lobbies and leaderboards. Those are Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter III: 3d Strike.

The collection will release for basically everything that can run a game nowadays, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC (via Steam), and it’ll hit the shelves in May 2018 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series. The console versions will come in both physical and digital forms.

That being said, it’s a little late, since the original Street Fighter actually released in Japanese arcades on August 30th, 1987.

Technicalities aside, a trailer was also released to celebrate the announcement, and you can watch it below.
