The first details of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order were revealed today in a livestream from this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration. Publisher EA and developer Respawn Entertainment showed off the first story trailer and announced the game’s November 15, 2019 release date. Following the reveal, multiple sources gave us a look at quite a few new screenshots.
EA Star Wars shared the cover art for Fallen Order on Twitter before the panel began. In this shot, we can see the protagonist (now known to be named Cal) and his droid friend BD-1 overlooking a fallen ship that’s crashlanded in a river. Check it out below.

The livestream panel also revealed that Cameron Monaghan (of Shameless and Gotham fame) is the voice and motion tracking behind Cal. He took to Twitter after the panel to say that he’s “honored to be a part of this universe” and share a few looks at Cal. We see one shot of Cal holding his lightsaber, which was discussed in the panel. The developers declined to share much though, saying that knowing who’s lightsaber it is would be a major part of the game’s story.

We also see Cal in a hooded outfit, likely hinting that the character will need to stay hidden at times throughout the game. We know this takes place right after Order 66, which means that most of the other Jedi are dead. Cal probably needs to stay concealed as he tries to navigate this new world.
Finally, Xbox shared a few more screenshots on their Twitter account. One features Cal speaking to an alien in a bar with stormtroopers walking in. The other looks like a desolate planet filled with crashed ships. One ship is flying through the wreckage. Could this be an early look at Cal’s transport?
