To celebrate Star Wars Day, which will be occurring this Saturday, May 4, digital PC games retailer has added the original Star Wars Battlefront to its storefront today.
The original Battlefront, which first released back in 2004, is now available for sale via GOG. The game has previously been available for sale on Steam already and is also backward compatible on Xbox One. The title typically retails for $9.99, but for the next week, it will be marked down to the price of $8.49.
In fact, GOG is having a sale on a multitude of other Star Wars games over the next week. The sale, which will last until May 9, features some of the most iconic Star Wars titles in history marked down pretty heavily. From older games like 1995’s Star Wars: Dark Forces, to the beloved RPGs of Knights of the Old Republic I and II, this sale extends to quite a few different titles from the past. Star Wars Battlefront’s 2005 follow-up Star Wars Battlefront II is also included in the promotion and is marked all the way down to $3.49.
If you’re looking to pick up a bunch of Star Wars games from yesteryear, this is likely the best time to do so. To get a full look at the entire slate of Star Wars games included in this sale, you can head over to GOG’s official website to see them all.
