A little over a year after initially releasing, EA has today announced that DICE’s multiplayer-focused shooter Star Wars Battlefront II has now come to EA Access.
While it didn’t have the smoothest launch, developer DICE has continued adding more new content to Star Wars Battlefront II over the past year, all for free. Just this past month, a new map on the planet Geonosis along with Hero characters Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous were added to the game. While I haven’t played much of Battlefront II since launch, I’ve actually been intrigued to revisit it over the past month with all of these new features having now been included.
For those unaware of just what EA Access is, or maybe those who just forget, it’s a subscription-based service that allows you to play a back catalog of old EA-published titles. The service has always been and remains only available on the Xbox One platform
If you’re not currently subscribed to EA Access, it costs $4.99 per month to join. You can also purchase a full year of the service for only $29.99.
