Square Enix Teases New Game Called Outriders for Reveal at E3 2019 Presentation

For quite some time now, we’ve known that People Can Fly, the company behind Bulletstorm, has been working in collaboration with Square Enix on a new game that has been confirmed to be a shooter. While the project hasn’t been revealed yet, it seems that the first tease of the new title has likely now been unveiled.

This new game from Square Enix, which is called Outriders, was today teased in a tweet from a new Twitter account associated with the game. The teaser tweet comes with some brief footage of what seems to be a woman waking up from “Cryostasis.” The message attached to the tweet confirms that our first look of Outriders will occur on June 10, which is the same date that Square Enix’s E3 2019 conference is taking place.

We’ve known for awhile now that Outriders was the name of something that Square had in the pipeline when a trademark for the game appeared last year. While People Can Fly hasn’t been confirmed to be the developer of this game just yet, all signs point to this being the case. Obviously, don’t get your hopes up just yet in case this isn’t correct, but the likelihood of Outriders being from People Can Fly is all but confirmed.

I, for one, am really excited to see what this ends up looking like, especially if it is a shooter. Regardless, we’ll learn more next week when Outriders is formally revealed.
