Today, Nintendo revealed a solid amount of upcoming content for their quirky third-person shooter title Splatoon 2.
A new map, as well as new dualies, will be added into the game. The map will feature a basketball court named Goby Arena. It has many advantageous locations players should focus on to get the upper hand on their opponents during Turf War matches.
The new weapon is a pair of dualies called The Dark Tetra Dualies. With the weapon, players will be able to dodge roll up to four times. As of right now neither the map or weapon have a concrete release date but they’ll likely be available sometime soon. As always, players can expect all of this new content free of charge. You can check out a whole bunch of screenshots of the new weapon and map in-game below.
In other Splatoon 2 news, a pair of adorable Pearl and Marina amiibo have been revealed. Players will be able to purchase the new amiibo exclusively as a dual pack, similar to the Callie and Marie amiibo released in 2016 for the original game on Wii U. Furthermore, the next North American Splatfest event has been revealed and will pit love versus money.
Splatoon 2 is available now exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
