Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive announced today that they are partnering to bring Spintires: MudRunner, the ultimate edition of the popular PC game Spintires, to PC, PS4, and Xbox One this October. For those who don’t know, Spintires gives players access to large all-terrain vehicles and lets them journey across the Siberian landscape.
Spintires: MudRunner brings a new large sandbox map, giving the game a total of six environments. A Challenge mode that contains nine dedicated maps and thirteen new vehicles has also been added. The graphics have also been overhauled, as the game now features as extreme terrain conditions, a dynamic day-night cycle, and an advanced physics engine that lets the environment react realistically to the weight and movement speeds of the large vehicles players control.
There are also now nineteen different vehicles for players to drive in Spintires: MudRunner, all of which feature special characteristics and attachable equipment. All versions will feature four player co-op multiplayer, and the PC version will have mod support. While the game will be $29.99 at launch, it is currently available for pre-order at a 10% discount on Steam; those who own the original Spintires can net the game at a 60% discount.
