Avatar: The Last Airbender is having something of a resurgence lately after making its way to Netflix. And now, a few of the series’ many characters are joining Smite in a “world-bending crossover event.” Next month’s battle pass includes three Avatar characters, along with a bunch of extra content. Check out the new trailer below.
The latest Smite crossover event lets players turn three of the game’s gods into Avatar characters. So, these aren’t brand new characters. That said, it’s still pretty nifty. Aang, Suko, and Korra take the places of Merlin, Susano, and Skadi respectively. And each character comes with their own prestige track where you can earn another fancy skin.
You’re not just getting those three skins with the battle pass though. Players will also look to unlock new ward skins and global emotes themed around The Last Airbender. The full battle pass is getting its reveal on June 24 during the Mid-Season Update Show. So, you’re interested in seeing everything coming, make sure to check that out.
Avatar: The Last Airbender‘s popularity has never been in doubt. I mean, even M. Night Shyamalan made a terrible live-action version. However, it’s great to see it come back into the public eye again. Who would’ve thought we’d be getting a crossover event for a series that ended in 2014?
Smite is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The Avatar battle pass kicks off in July. Make sure to watch the Mid-Season Update Show if you want a closer look at all the things coming next month.
