For Dark Souls and Bloodborne fans, Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King might be a familiar name. An indie third-person open-world adventure game that combines Souls-like combat with some innovative platforming in order to deliver a unique experience. The good news is, the game will finally exit its Early Access phase on February 17.
According to an announcement made by Redlock Studio, Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King will be available on PC as a full game as of February 17. The game is currently available for $24.99, but the price will probably increase a little bit after its full launch. Fortunately, those who have played the game on Steam mostly recommended it as a very potential and ambitious Souls-like project.
In Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King, you will start your journey in a dark world as a wondered. After the fall of the King, everything in the world of Hypnos has changed for the worse. Now, it’s up to you to beat evil monstrous creatures that push the world to the darkness and avoid civilization from falling.
Your character in the game will make progress through combat and exploration. Each one of them will allow you to get upgrade your skills, get new weapons, and tweak your spellcasting abilities. However, it’s important to choose a way of progression that will suit your style of combat.
