A brand new real-time-strategy game created by Masayoshi Kikuchi and Koji Igarashi. This all-star team brings to the table a cast of funky Heroes who will shatter your expectations. The player wields a deck of 8 cards, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. They then aim to destroy their opponent’s towers within the time limit of 3 minutes to achieve victory. The rules are simple, but the cards and powerful Hero skills they use opens up players to fun and strategic real-time duels.
Characters in Revolve8 are familiar fairy tale figures reimagined such as Red Riding Hood now being a fashion and social media fanatic and Cinderella a popstar who loves motorcycles. Battles are determined by playing cards with different classes, decks, and skills with different effects and weaknesses. Quests let you learn the basics for both battles and Heroes. For those who pre-register and those who play at release will receive a bunch of in-game rewards with 1,000 gold and twelve characters. As a free-to-play game you can expect in-app purchases though it is unknown how egregious they may be. You can check out what the characters look like and screenshots of the game in action below.
