Originally announced last year at Gamescom 2018, Deep Silver revealed that it would be porting Saints Row: The Third to the Nintendo Switch with a planned release window of March 2019. While that window has now shifted, Deep Silver today has announced the official release date of Saints Row: The Third for Switch.
Now, Saints Row: The Third will be arriving on May 10, 2019, according to a new post from Deep Silver’s UK Twitter page. Whether or not this will be the same release date in all regions remains to be seen, but it seems like a fair assumption.
As for the version of Saints Row: The Third that is coming to Switch is that of The Full Package edition. This will include all of the game’s add-ons and DLC that arrived after its initial release. Currently, Deep Silver hasn’t announced any extra additions that will be coming uniquely to this Switch version. It seems like a pretty standard port.
As of now, we still don’t have a price point or other information either, but at least a release date is something to grasp onto at the moment.
