Last October, the spiritual successor to Road Rash, Road Redemption, made its way to PC, Mac, and Linux. It looks as though another platform will be added to that list after confirmation of a Switch version is currently in development.
Initially, the official Road Redemption Twitter account posted a tweet stating that the devs were working on some “exciting things” for the game and they will announce more details “soon.” Twitter user @TheRealAwest followed up with a tweet with hopes of a Switch version. It took about a day but the Road Redemption account replied back confirming that a Switch version is currently in the works.
You’re in luck! A Switch version is definitely in the works, so stay tuned…

For those who may not know what Road Redemption is, it’s a vehicular combat game where you play as a biker and try to dispose of rival bikers by any means necessary; this includes using guns, bats, pipes, and more to eliminate the opposition.
Back in 2013, Road Redemption was crowdfunded through Kickstarter after 4,409 backers pledged $173,803 to get the project started; it released on Steam Early Access in 2014 and was intended for full release the same year.
Road Redemption is currently available on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam.
