The wait is finally over, the Risk of Rain 2 Anniversary Update will finally be arriving on console on June 29th.
With fans around the world awaiting the arrival of the update on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, DualShockers have got everything you need to know about the update, including the expected release time.
The developers have also noted that the update will be arriving for the Nintendo Switch in the future, but for now, the update will only be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It is also available for PC users, and has been since March 25th, 2021. Steam users can download the game and play the Anniversary Update right now.

Risk of Rain 2 – Anniversary Update
Although PC users have already experienced the massive Anniversary Update for Risk of Rain 2, console fans have got a lot to look forward to when it arrives on June 29th.
In the update, fans will find a new survivor called ‘Bandit’, new items, skill variants, monsters, and plenty more. The update also made plenty of gameplay changes and quality of life fixes that can be discovered in the patch notes.
Console Release Date & Expected Time
The developers of Risk of Rain 2 are yet to reveal the official release time for the Anniversary Update on console, but we can take an educated guess as to when it will arrive.
When the Anniversary Update was released on Steam, it arrived at 8AM PT | 11AM ET | 4PM BST. Should the developers follow a similar pattern, expect the Risk of Rain 2 Anniversary update to release on console at the same time.
If the developers release a more accurate time for the arrival of the update, we will update this article.
Patch Notes
As the Anniversary Update for Risk of Rain 2 was previously released for Steam some months ago, the full patch notes are already available. Now, these patch notes may differ slightly when the update arrives on console, but we imagine they’ll be very similar.
