Why Has Riot Removed Breeze From Valorant Champions Tour Reykjavík
At 8:00 AM PT, Riot’s @ValorantEsports tweeted out that Breeze has been removed from the map rotation at Masters Reykjavik.
This comes after Riot “conferring with pro players globally, [and] in the interest of competitive integrity”. They’ve also added that “considering the overlap with Challenger Playoffs and travel to Iceland, 4 weeks is not enough time to practice a new map.”
Breeze is in Valorant only since a week and with the VCT Masters Reykjavík starting on May 24, it doesn’t seem likely that most pros would have time to adjust and strategize.
