The new KD/A skins for champions Kai’Sa, Evelynn, Ahri, and Akali in League of Legends have been the only thing that fans seemingly want to talk about this week. Now, following lots of feedback from fans, Riot Games is updating one of the skins to more closely reflect the character’s appearance from POP/STAR.
Akali’s neon look has now been added to her KD/A skin League of Legends. When utilizing Akali’s Twilight Shroud ability, her appearance will then change to become neon, just like as seen in the music video.
This update has started to roll out into the game as of today and will be available for use in the PBE after updating your own version of the game. This new look will be added across the entirety of League of Legends once patch 8.23 releases later this month.
If you’ve been holding off on purchasing these KD/A skins for yourself so far, then the allure to purchase Akali’s popstar look just became much stronger. I also think that the pairing of this neon look with her Twilight Shroud is a perfect idea, as her vibrant features will pair well with the dark smoke used in this ability.
