Yesterday, Capcom unveiled new footage for Resident Evil Village. We were shown a story trailer alongside some short snippets of gameplay. The box art for Village has also been unveiled and could possibly point to some spoilers for the game.
As you see in the image below (via ComicBook.com), the box art for Resident Evil Village contains Chris Redfield staring down on a village below. However, the right side of his face resembles a wolf or possibly a werewolf. Among that, the side of the face that morphed into a wolf has a glowing eye.

While yes, this is some cool box art, it could possibly be hinting at some story aspects that occur in the game. Could Chris Redfield turn into a werewolf at some point during the adventure? It has already been confirmed that the game will feature both werewolves and vampires.
I would like to think that Capcom wouldn’t put a spoiler right on the front of the box. I have to be honest, I might be a bit disappointed if it actually is. However, it is entirely possible that they thought: “Hey, Chris Redfield is cool and werewolves are cool. So let’s merge them on the cover art.”
During yesterday’s showcase, Capcom announced that Resident Evil: Village will be releasing on May 7, 2021. The game was already announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, Capcom stated yesterday that the game will also be making its way to the PS4 and Xbox One as well. A free demo is also currently available that is exclusive to the PS5. Ubisoft also made an appearance and revealed a crossover with The Division 2 and the Resident Evil Franchise. Resident Evil Re:Verse, a new multiplayer title, was also announced yesterday and will come free for those who purchase Resident Evil Village.
