(Spoilers are listed below, do not read on if you really don’t want to know anything!)
There you are minding your own business while out hunting for that perfect pelt or soaking in the vast beautiful scenery that’s aplenty in Red Dead Redemption 2, when suddenly in the distance you hear a mournful howl. As you approach the sound, you see the outline of a dark figure – is it a man? is it an animal? Well, you’re partly right as you’ve just stumbled across a werewolf.
In a YouTube video by wojnar90, we can see them go on foot to chase down this spooked werewolf as he flees on foot, making his way to a nearby cave – “were-man cave” maybe? – but you need to be careful here because as you advance towards the opening of the lair, his mates head out towards you to see what the fuss is all about, and when I say mates, I mean were-dudes angry wolf buddies who will take you down.
Inside the cave, Feral Man as he’s known in the game is curled up into a ball like a hot mess, likely because you just had to kill his only family. Leaving him to go snoop around, you come across his diary. Now, we all know NOT to read someone’s dairy right? Doing this disrespectful act turns Mr werewolf from an emo teenager into the hulk where you now have a completely naked dude jumping at you with a knife.
He isn’t too hard to fend off, but what you do next is completely up to you and your morals, I mean you already read his diary and shot his family…you monster.
If you decide to go looking for this poor werewolf/Feral man, just remember that during the day the cave will be empty. You can find the cave near Roanoke Valley, north Annesburg, specifically by the R that’s marked on the map below.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for Xbox One and PS4. You can pick it up on Amazon and explore the map for yourself, but come back and let us know what you’ve found.
