You’ve probably turned off the rumble in your controllers by now because you, like many gamers, value battery life over hand-held haptic feedback. Well, Razer is hedging a bet: the new Nari line of wireless headsets is putting rumble around each of your ears.

The Nari Ultimate–the most expensive version of the Nari–comes complete with “Razer Hypsersense,” a technological advancement which is seeking to change the way we listen to media.

The Nari Ultimate was made in partnership with German engineering firm Lofelt, who design top-of-the-line haptics for use in toys, phones, and more. The haptic drivers are intended to create a new dimension of feedback between the player and the headset. That “new dimension” they’re talking about seems like it could be the difference between getting that “Victory Royale” and dying in Dusty Depot. It’s designed to make you feel gunshots and footsteps around you.

The headset also features cooling gel ear cushions with built-in channels for eyewear. Finally, someone understands what it’s like to have glasses squeeze your face while gaming. Additionally, it has an auto-adjusting headband and Razer Chroma to ensure that your setup is absolutely a sensory overload, as well as a retractable microphone. The Nari Ultimate will have a eight-hour battery life, while the Nari (without Hypersense) can go for 16 hours.

THX Spatial Audio was first brought to the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition which we reviewed a few days ago. It’s coming to the Nari too.

The Nari is available today for $149.99. It includes THX Spatial Audio and Razer Chroma but we won’t be seeing this cool Razer Hypsersense until the Razer Nari Ultimate releases at some point in Q4. Razer is also releasing a cheaper version of the Nari at $99, but obviously, it lacks some of the bells and whistles.
