Beyond giving away Rayman Legends, Ubisoft announced they have put together a month-long series of offers, trials, and discounts for those staying at home. Their statement mentions, “In the coming days and weeks, we’ll provide additional free offers and trials on games from some of our popular franchises, like Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance, and more!”.
This likely includes more free games, free trials and trial weekends like the recent one for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and sales similar to the current Uplay Spring Sale. You can view and claim all of Ubisoft’s giveaways here. Additionally, both Rabbids Coding and Magic & Might Chess Royale are free. Meanwhile, free trials are available for multiple Ghost Recon games, The Divison and The Crew 2.
Rayman Legends launched in 2013 to critical acclaim and for good reason. The colorful game offers over 80 amazing levels and features some iconic musical stages that I’ve never forgotten. I spent countless hours playing the game with my brother and testing my skills in the daily challenges when the Wii U first launched, and it quickly became one of my favorite platformers in recent years. You can claim your free copy here.
It’s obviously a very trying time for the world as a whole, and it’s truly amazing to see a large publisher like Ubisoft actively encourage people to stay inside. Rayman Legends is a wonderful game and perfect for playing co-op with anyone, regardless of their gaming experience. Please stay inside, enjoy free games, and join me in hoping a new Rayman game is coming soon. After all, 2020 is Rayman’s 25th anniversary.
