Operation Steel Wave is the name for the second season of Year 5 content pack. As previously revealed in the roadmap, Steel Wave will also bring the reworked version of House map, along with at least one arcade event and a limited-time battle-pass. While more details about the next operation are about to reveal soon, below you can check out a brief teaser of it:

It’s been over two months since the launch of Operation Void Edge and it’s expected to see Steel Wave arriving earlier next month. During the current operation, Ubisoft added Iana and Oryx as the new operators, with the former having the ability to control a ghost-like version of herself, while the latter can break into walls and surprise the shield-holder attackers by a fast and powerful melee attack.
Furthermore, the game received Golden Gun and The Grand Larceny as limited-time arcade game modes over the Operation Void Edge. Developers also started reworking maps by delivered the new version of Oregon with the launch of the current operation.
It’s worth noting that Operation Steel Wave will be the last seasonal update of Year 5 that adds two operators to the game. Each one of the next two operations will only bring one new operator to the roster.
Rainbow Six Siege is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will be launched on PS5 and Xbox Series X as soon as they become available in the market.
