Developer Ubisoft Montreal has announced that some major changes will be coming to the multiplayer maps in its first-person shooter Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
First and foremost, the total number of maps in both the Ranked Map Rotation and the Casual Map Rotation will be reduced to nine and fifteen respectively. You can check out which maps will be featured in each playlist below:

It was also confirmed that, due to data storage problems, some maps will be completely removed from the game in order to manage space. It’s unclear which of these maps will be removed, and whether or not this will be a permanent situation.
Finally, aside from the Terrorist Hunt game mode, the Map Preference system will be removed from all game modes.
These map changes join the Operation Blood Orchid DLC, which was also released today for Season Pass holders, and will soon be available for other players on September 5th, 2017. That update adds a brand new map and three new operators.
Earlier this month the game received a brand new update which fixed a ton of different bugs. A few days earlier it was revealed that the game had over 20 million registered players.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege was originally released on December 1st, 2015, and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
