SI 2021 Grand Finale is about to kick off later today, and Rainbow Six Siege fans can’t wait to see which team will lift the Sledge for the first time ever. With my last line, I probably teased a little bit about the Grand Finale teams, didn’t I? Well, let’s find out more.
Although this year’s Six Invitational 2021 started a few months later than usual, we should still be happy that we got the chance to watch this exciting competition between the best of each region in the world.

After group stage and Playoffs matches, there are only two matches left until the end of this event. First, MIBR from Brazil will play against Team Liquid.
Who Made it to the Grand Finale?
Ninjas in Pyjamas is one of the teams that has made it to the Grand Finale. Same as the last year, they reached the Grand Finale through the Upper Bracket, but this time around they won’t be satisfied with a Runner-Up title. NIP will either play against TSM or MIBR, but which one exactly?
After losing to MIBR in the first round of the Upper Bracket, Team Liquid fell into the Lower Bracket and took the tougher route ahead. They first eliminated Parabellum, then beat Team Empire in an incredible game. In the third round, Team Liquid won against FaZe Clan, and finally, they went past TSM in a tough game, and now they are in the Lower Bracket finale, where they need to play against MIBR once more.
On the other hand, MIBR started strong in the upper bracket. They first won against Team Liquid and then beat Oxygen, which put them against Ninjas in Pyjamas. After a close defeat against NIP, they now have a second chance to win over Team Liquid for another time and take revenge from NIP in the Grand Finale.
When is the SI 2021 Grand Finale?
The SI 2021 Grand Finale will officially go live on May 23rd at 11 am EDT/3 pm GMT. But before the Grand Finale, you can watch the Lower Bracket’s final match between TSM and MIBR on the same day at 7:30 am EDT/11:30 pm GMT.
You can watch both matches via this link through Twitch, or via this link on YouTube.
If you find your R6 Siege squad skilled enough to take part in next year’s Six Invitational, you’d better start training as the competition has one Open Qualifier seed for every continent.
This Year, Cyclops, Furia, Parabellum, and Mkers reached the SI 2021 from the Open Qualifier. While Cyclops could make it to Playoffs, the other three teams didn’t eliminate until the second round of the Lower Bracket.
Rainbow Six Siege is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
