Today Sega released a new batch of screenshots of the upcoming Shining Resonance PS4 remaster Shining Resonance Refrain.
We get to give a look at the new Refrain Mode, in which Excela Noa Aura and Jenius Aeon are available as companions from the beginning. They will also be available for night events and dates.
On top of that, we also see some of the 150 DLC pieces that were released for the PS3 version, and that will all be included without additional purchase in the remaster. Those are additional dungeons, extra events, swimsuits, idol outfits and much more.
Last, but not least, the screenshots show the new bikinis Black Lotus and Red Lotus designed by Character Designer Tony Taka himself, and that will be added to Kirika’s warddrobe.
A new opening song by Elements Garden (that created the original soundtrack), titled “Eternal Color” and performed by the voice of Kirika (Saori Hayami) and Sonia (Asami Seto) will be included in the remaster, but the original theme song “Rainbow Melody” will also be included with greatly improved image quality for its animation.
Several minor improvements have also been made to gameplay and more. Those range from smoothing over multiple difficulty bumps to better indicators for completed quests, and the ability to turn off Rinna’s familiar Fromage to avoid spoiling serious scenes.

The game launch in Japan on March 29th, 2018, and according to a recent interview, it might even come west.
