Gather ’round folks. It’s a few days before the start of the new month and if you’re a PlayStation 4 player, you already know what that means. That’s right, Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus lineup of free games for April 2019 and despite last month being an absolute banger, this month is…less than ideal to say the least, in my opinion.
Kicking things off we have Conan Exiles, a survival multiplayer game based on the relatively popular character Conan the Barbarian. Players are forced to do whatever they can to survive, including but not limited to hunting for food, building shelter, fending off intense weather conditions, and more, all within a vast and expansive open world.
On the other side of the spectrum, we have The Surge, a third-person, sci-fi RPG. In it, players utilize an upgradable exoskeletal to take down a variety of different enemies. During your time in the world, you’ll be able to craft and equip new weapons to help you on your way. Right now, it’s not exactly clear if the version that’ll be free is the standard edition, or the augmented edition, however, chances are it’s just the former.
Of course, last month Sony stopped including PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita titles in their Plus free games lineup and this month, of course, continues that promise, so these two games are all you’re getting.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness, last months free games, will be rotated out the two aforementioned titles on April 2, 2019.
